Resizing Images

I thought I'd do a short tutorial for members to show them how to size photo's to send to me for use on the website. I have included how to add a description to the file and some copyright information. The slideshow software that I use on the website uses the description to add a caption during the slideshow. As a few members still have problems making their images the correct size for DPI competitions I have included instructions for doing this. Click the link to watch - Resizing Images.

The .jpg.jpg problem

A few members are still having the problem where the filename for DPI entries has .jpg.jpg at the end. This tutorial will explain what is going on and how to fix it. Click the linkto watch - .jpg.jpg problem.

 

DS Colour Labs

I've made a short tutorial on installing the DS Colour Labs Kiosk onto your desktop and then using it to send an order to DS Colour Labs. Part of this is done on my laptop so that you can see that the Kiosk needs Java installed. I did not complete the order because I don't need any prints at the moment. I forgot to mention prices. If you scroll further down on the Online Printing page where we clicked 'Get Started' there is a list of prices.
For instance the 18" by 12" are currently £1.20 plus p&p.DS Colour Labs.
